Group Rates: To qualify for group admission rates, all tickets must be purchased at the same time. A group is defined as 10 or more individuals (with the exception of Seniors and Disabled groups). The only museum devoted to the Art, History, and Natural Sciences of California. The art department is active in the acquisition of art of California by California artists in all media: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed-media, installation, prints and crafts.

The University Art Museum contains a permanent collection as well as a rotating exhibition schedule, usually under the heading of the MATRIX program. The MATRIX program provides a framework for an active, experimental interchange between the artist, the museum, and the viewer and the exhibits are usually provocative works by avant-garde artists.

The Pacific Film Archive shows well-known and should be well-known classic films from all over the world. At various times throughout the year, the PFA designs thematic film schedules.
PFA will remain open with a full schedule during the retrofit.

The museum houses both the Western Jewish History Center and Blumenthal Rare Book and Manuscript Library.
The History Center holds the world’s largest archive on the Jews of the thirteen western American states, this research resource makes available to scholars hundreds of archival and oral history collections documenting individuals, organizations, and communities of the past 150 years. It includes thousands of rare and historic photographs, newspapers and periodicals, ephemera, fine press books, and other valuable materials. The library houses over 12,000 rare and illustrated books and manuscripts, Jewish recorded and sheet music, rare and distinctive Haggadot, the Setchko Holocaust Collection, thousands of photographs, and other priceless research materials. Pheobe Hearst Museum of Anthropology
The Phoebe A. Hearst Museum of Anthropology is located in Kroeber Hall at the corner of Bancroft Way and College Avenue on the campus of the University of California in Berkeley.

The Phoebe Apperson Hearst Museum of Anthropology, formerly the Lowie Museum of Anthropology, was founded in 1901. The purpose of the museum is to collect, preserve, research, and interpret the global record of material culture, so as to promote the understanding of the history and diversity of human cultures.

The MOCHA Gallery is dedicated to showing the work of children from the Bay Area community and beyond. MOCHA offers classes, art camps, and is a common field trip destination for school children in the East Bay.
